TEAL is a Multi - Award Winning Equine Therapeutic and Asdan Alternative Education Centre

We are a specialised alternative educational centre on the Kent and Surrey border in Oxted, running a range of courses, including our bespoke Asdan approved courses, as well as other ASDAN courses that are available to students on a range of different subjects.

As an ASDAN Accredited Centre, TEAL CIC is able to provide full time placements to students who are out of education or require alternative education provision aged 12 years to 25 years old.

We have great consistent feedback from many LEA educational settings, private educational provisions, alternative educational provisions and clients in home learning or adults learning placements.

We designed the TEAL TEACH Equine Accredited Education courses with our clients’ learning at the forefront, and many students have gone on to work or volunteer within and outside the equine industry.

Staff have qualifications in mental health, counselling, health & social care, are highly experienced in working with children, young people and adults with additional needs and disabilities.

TEAL CIC Alternative Educational Courses

All our courses are fully accredited by ASDAN and we are able to offer alternative education placements in a range of subjects for our students.

ASDAN Registered Centre for students aged 12 years to 25 years old.
The accredited courses run from 1 day – full-time hours 3 days a week + 1 day work experience placement.
We are on the Kent approved providers list, we work with many educational providers & LEA.
ASDAN Approved our customised courses written & developed by TEAL for students who are interested in equine educational courses
A range of ASDAN alternative education courses are available here at TEAL CIC on a range of different subjects – such as animal care, introduction to land based studies, maths, gardening, english, careers and experiencing work.

TEAL CIC Customised Equine Alternative Education Courses available
Did you know we are the ONLY EAL educational provider who can offer your young person our 4 x externally accredited equine courses?

That’s because we wrote, designed and developed the 4 equine courses ourselves through our vast equine knowledge and 30+ yrs experience in working with young people with SEND our courses were developed with young people’s pathways to learning at the forefront.

We have been successfully delivering our equine courses for over 8 years with many former students now in the work place, moved onto equestrian colleges or apprenticeships.

We are thankful to say that the courses have been a huge success in creating a pathway to success, where students enjoy and achieve.

We love that most of our students stay in contact with us , pop in for visits and some have even had children of their own now!
